Preventing Radicalism
through Critical Thinking Competences


PRACTICE
aims to develop an EU-wide continuing professional development (CPD) programme for teachers focussing on promotion of social, civic & intercultural competences & critical thinking of secondary school students.

PRACTICE is a three-year European project, started in September 2018, funded by the Erasmus+ programme
and coordinated by Centro per lo Sviluppo Creativo Danilo Dolci.

The project activities will be implemented throughout 6 different European countries: Italy, Austria, Denmark, Germany, Greece and UK.

THE NEEDS

Provide teachers with new skills & competences to deal with complex classroom realities & to confidently respond to diversified groups

Innovate Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programmes to meet the teachers’ needs, interests and challenges they face in their daily work

Preventing Radicalisation in schools, by developing students’ critical thinking and promoting the EU common values of freedom, tolerance, and non-discrimination
